Town Council

According to Title 25, O.S. Sect. 301-314 of the Open Meeting Act regularly scheduled meetings (which is the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. for the Town of Fletcher) you are required to have the agenda posted in a prominent place at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of the meeting.

This excludes weekends and holidays.

For a Special Meeting you are required to post a Notice of the Meeting 48 hours before, excluding weekends and holidays and then the actual agenda items at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. Should there ever be an Emergency situation that for the health and safety of the public there would need to be an Emergency Meeting you are required to post as soon as possible.
